Each set of controls (ie: left/right, up/down) is one spool. So your joystick type valves are 2 spools each while your other valves (outrigger valves?) are one spool each.Sorry, I don't know what you mean when you write 'spool'. The loader currently has a Honda 11 hp engine that runs a pump. The pump feeds a valve bank, which is made up of 5 valves, 3 of which function both right and left AND to the front and back (bucket, boom, stick, outriggers, etc.). I stand on a small platform and run the loader by pulling and pushing, or moving right and left on the different valves. Does this help clarify things. I am really new to the world of tractor hydraulics.
As J_J said, some pictures of the valve bank, especially any tags on it and where the hoses to/from the pump/tank connect would make it easier to see exactly what you have.
