I am looking for some plates for a 246 planter that will handle small round corn seed. Anyone know where I can find some?

Lincoln AG sells 'em new. Also, they're abundant on EBAY.

Just so you know, the 246 uses the same plates as the model 71 and plates are easier to find than for any other make/model planter.

I'm needing some plates for "Mexican Corn" to plant for the neigbor. I own a JD Flex 71, 4 row planter that was set up for sweet corn. The JD Dealer said about $30 a plate and Lincoln's site shows $12.75 a plate and they measure the seed in 1/64". Does anyone know what "Mexican Corn" seed size takes? As you can tell by the question I newbie to planters. bjr
