John Deere D130 will not start. Turn key get NOTHING, no click, no noise.

My D130 will not start, will not crank the motor when key is turned on. Battery is good and lights are bright when on. With key on, when I jump from battery + to starter solenoid the motor cranks and starts (seat switch is depressed). The break switch and 20 amp fuse have been replaced. Suggestions appreciated.

I finally figured out what was wrong. I had checked two of the three safety switches, the ones usually mentioned in Threads. MY PROBLEM WAS A THIRD SWITCH, THE PTO SWITCH. It's the same as the break switch but behind the Push to Operate Lever for the cutting blades. Lift the hood and look under the PTO lever where the linkage pushes the switch.
