Sorry I missed your post Mike, I've been gone a lot lately.

it seem that the inner locking slot holder does not stay lock

Do you mean the forward locks on the subframe, forward of the rear tires? Mine self-latch once the hoe frame comes up. There is a "C" shaped piece of metal that swings around the pin on the hoe frame and a pin that pops in to hold it in place with a spring. Maybe your spring is gone or it's too rusty/dirty to move? When it's properly latched, the locking pin is flush with the outermost metal surface. If that pin isn't popping into place I could see where the hoe could come loose. Before resorting to welding, clean it up and lube it some to make sure all the parts are moving the way they should.

Yeah, the three point arms are probably the worst part of the installation. The lower bracket for the hoe does a nice job of covering the pins you need to slide. Just so you know, it's even worse putting the arms back on /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

That is exactly what I mean, they close once the bar is in place, but it does not slide into the locking area, plus the little pin on the left side is missing. I will try a couple of hose clamps and U bolts type if things to see if it will hold the backhoe in place in order to use it. Otherwise being everybody told me welding is out of the question, maybe I can drill a couple of holes on both sides and secured it with a couple of heavy bolts, ( can not afford to have the unit come completely off when I try and dig.
