Which quick attach system is better? Easier to use? Fewer problems long term? Easier to find reasonably priced attachments for?

It's time to start upgrading from the old pin style loader and want to use the same system on two tractors. Input is appreciated.

SSQA, hands down.

Just think, nearly every other manufacturer (if not all) use it.

That's what I had gathered from looking online, but I feel better from hearing it from those who use them.

I think it depends on the size of tractor your talking about...it's just not that cut and dry.

On a 1 or 2 series size machine, the JDQA is perfect. Simple, lightweight, and everything these tractors can effectively use like forks and small grapples is readily available to fit. The SSQA on this size machine is a waste of lift capacity.

On a 3 series, one could go either way, but realistically there are few actual SSQA attachments that will work well on them due to the weight and small GPM output.

4 Series and larger I vote SSQA for sure.

I guess I should have mentioned the size. It would be on 70 - 90 pto hp tractors so it would be a 6 series JD loader.

The Global/Euro Carrier is gaining ground for larger machines also.
