You confirmed reverser cable connect to the shaft that crosses through the transmission and link goes to reverser valve lever.
The parts drawings are not easy to follow.

Well the problem is solved. I have seen this before, but not exactly like this. It was the reverser cable. It worked fine just a few days before for me but then it set up. I have not seen it where the cable was used every time the tractor was used and the cable looks as good as this one and have it set up. Also the end of the cable seemed to move in and out slightly, usually you don't see any movement.

Where I have seen this most common is tractors in harsh conditions, manure or feed wagon duty. Mainly on cables not used every day, or cables that show signs of damage. Like the 3pt hitch control cable on 3020's and 4020's. This one shows no damage or corrosion, and the tractor is kept out of acidic conditions, salt, manure, etc.

So did your just lube the cable??? Replace the cable??? Or what??? Thanks for any info!!!

For now they lubbed it for about 10 minutes working it back and forth. Only took a few minutes to free it, but tried to work the lube as far through as they could.
