Why all the sudden are you defending someone for buying a JD? I dont remember putting JD down. I don't remember saying anything negative about my old neighbor which btw I was 12 when he got a JD mower which he bought used, if your telling me that a JD mower is easier to get parts and support from than from Sears on a craftsman mower your seriously mistaken.

Lastly out of all that, why do you think I'm broke? If you really want to take personal jabs at people back it up. I would like to know how you got broke out of us talking about JD Green envy.

Dude you are absolutely clueless.. Sears supports the mower for 7 years-- Sears hasn't made( or branded) a quality lawn mower in years , and Sears might not be in business in 2 years you really need to educate yourself before you make these silly posts. Think before you post and stop the knee jerk reactions- . Hope that helps!!!

Dude you should be a politician, all you ever say is your party is better and insult the opposer.

Let's keep track of this: My first comment was about when I was a kid and my neighbor got a a JD riding lawn mower and he had green envy and how I didn't understand that.

You jump in saying: "Maybe he is thinking he has the top rated lawn tractor by Consumer reports- maybe he thinks he has a tractor JD will support for years to come.., maybe he thinks he can move up in a few years either by selling or trading unit into one of the thousands of JD dealers across the country maybe he had a friend that bought a husky and it died in 3 years"

Where you came up with all that based off the info I posted is insanity. But let's move on. You go on to say:

"bottom line what the **** do you care what he thinks .. I can kind of see why you are broke.. hang in cowpoke someday you'll have a JD -- and then you'll know the feeling..LOL-- or maybe not buy yourself a new husky-- I feel you 'deserve" it ..LOL"

What a childish thing to say, your insulting me over what? Do you feel superior because you cut less than a acre of ground with an x590 JD? Did you forget that I own a 4320 JD which is a 48hp tractor? I'm not sure what feeling your boasting about. If you feel superior because you cut grass with a John Deere I truly feel sorry for you.

My response was:

"Why all the sudden are you defending someone for buying a JD? I dont remember putting JD down. I don't remember saying anything negative about my old neighbor which btw I was 12 when he got a JD mower which he bought used, if your telling me that a JD mower is easier to get parts and support from than from Sears on a craftsman mower your seriously mistaken.

Now keep in mind this time frame is around 2002 we're talking about here, at that time you could order any mower part you could think of from Sears which I would say rivaled the fantastic JD dealer network you were talking about when it comes to riding mowers, here was your response:

"Dude you are absolutely clueless.. Sears supports the mower for 7 years-- Sears hasn't made( or branded) a quality lawn mower in years , and Sears might not be in business in 2 years you really need to educate yourself before you make these silly posts. Totally off subject comparing today's Sears to Sears 14 years ago, nothing about how you can see I'm broke, and why you defended a guy that I talked to 14 years ago that didn't need defending.

Your not proving anything, all your doing is saying JD is superior in every way, and that your a superior person (Green Envy) because you cut your grass with a JD mower, it's all a waste of my time debating with you. You show no proof and insult people, even know you think your better because you have a x590 in your garage, you can't win a pissing contest on equipment with me so don't even try, just stick to facts about mowers.

Question for you, how did you come up with I'm a disgruntled owner of a Husqvarna? I'm very happy with my choice of mower.

And yes I borrowed my dad's 445 for about a year to cut my grass after I bought my house at the age of 23, buying a mower was low on the list at the time to cut my 3 acres. And I haven't used his mower to mow my yard since, my Husqvarna does a fine job.

Did I say anything about not being able to afford a D series mower? Lol where the F do you come up with this garbage?

Guys like me don't admit when I'm wrong? I admit I'm wrong all the time when I'm actually wrong, idk why your so hostel towards the idea that a JD riding mower isn't the best product out there. I'm at least open minded towards other possibilities.

The D series mowers are assembled in Tennessee, there not manufactured there, parts are flown in and factory workers assemble the finished product, I have read all the info and watched all the videos on the Greenville plant, they only say "assemble" never do they show a press or anything other than an assembly line, so they can give it the title of being "Built" in Greenville. It's just a play on words, nothing more.

Dude-- I'm not hostile at all-- last I looked this was a John Deere Forum not a Husky Forum- so far in this thread a lot of misinformation about John Deere, that people that buy John Deere’s are stupid and wasting their money etc etc

John Deere is not the end all be all- but I can’t let outright falsehoods or misleading statements go unchallenged

Listen the husky is a nice entry level machine, and I’m sure your neighbors are impressed when you hop on your 10 year old husky..LOL- these silly comparisons to X series are just that silly- other than they both have engines and mower decks they have almost nothing in common. Get in front of the two machines and see the difference- The D series are made to compete with Cub Cadet and Husky at lower price point. And even at the lower end the D series are rated more reliable than its competitors, doesn’t mean JD is perfect, but they make a decent entry level machine and outstanding garden tractors

First off if your not "hostel" why do you keep bringing up my personal Husqvarna? I never compared my Husqvarna to anything on here, and you continue to bring up my neighbors which shows you care greatly about the way your neighbors see you. You brought up many times how old my machine is and even pulled my fathers "20" (17 actual years) old 445 into it like age has anything to do with capabilities. IMG_7479.JPG

Personally I don't care what my neighbors think of me and I don't judge them, there is only one judge and buddy that's not me.

The two machines in this original thread were a very fair comparison.

So I will ask you a personal question for a min, why do you have a x590 on less than an acre? What all do you do with that machine?

My husky cuts about 2 acres weekly: IMG_7377.JPGIMG_7374.JPG

And my 4320 feeds my cattle: IMG_7252.JPG

So I'm curious to hear how you work your x590. Pics are always welcome.

Isn't there a forum for 4320? This is the John Deere Garden tractor forum- please try to stay on topic

We can agree to disagree on two machines being “equal” Better engine, frame, steering, economics, better warranty and better resale value on Deere—hardly equal in my book. That might be equal to you-- and that's fine thats your opinion. As for my X590- has nothing to do with this thread- but thanks for asking
