Got to ask, who do you use for your home owners insurance? Just went through the process of obtaining home owners, farm liability and auto insurance. Had been with Ceico for nineteen years, but they could not do farm in this area. My goal was to get everything through one provider, Ended with Farm Bureau, but not real crazy about the way they operate.

Cary
I have Farm Bureau for home, cars and rental property. Great agent and office staff.

I guess I picked the right one then. The only thing I don't like is all the farm equipment has to be listed out. makes you worry that you might forget something.

If you don't tell them what you have, they won't know what they are insuring. That would sort of be like telling them to insure your cars and not tell them how many cars or what year or model car/cars.
I do understand though on imlements. Often times I forget to list what implements I have when implements are being discussed on this forum. Strange but true.:)

Will I receive an insurance policy describing my coverage now that I have bought the insurance?

John, have you received your certificate of coverage yet? I received mine in the mail yesterday and it looks pretty standard. I find it interesting that one of the exclusions is the policy won't cover a loss incurred while engaged in illegal activity. I guess nobody should plan to commit a crime and use an RTV as a getaway vehicle !

Nope. Nothing yet. That exclusion may be for moonshiners in Kentucky and other states that do their own distilling.:) I guess the problem is the selling of the distilled product because of the loss of tax revenue.

Rec'd insurance and monthly pmnt info today. I left a voided check with Barlows at the time of purchase so the pmnt will come out of my checking acct each month. It's done and I don't have to do anything else other than make sure the money is at the bank each month.:)

Glad you got it. I prefer to pay my monthly payment on Kubota's website.

Actually the insurance is not insured by Kubota. It's Ohio Indemnity Company "The Company". But who cares as long as it's decent coverage for a decent price.
After reading the information sent it isn't head and shoulders above other insurance policies. For me the coverage is still in effect if I'm off my property which my homeowners probably won't cover. Says nothing about not covering for floods so guess it does but doesn't cover if critters nesting or pooping on the equipment per this policy.
May have to check what an "inland marine policy" covers (my agent mentioned this one time) and see if it's the same as this but I probably won't since I've already got this. Those that think they can lose a two year old tractor and get a new one as replacement haven't read this policy. It will replace with one of current equal value which is standard with most (all) insurance. This policy also indicates the Ohio Indemnity Co will go after any other insurance policy (to get their money back) you have that may cover your equipment which also is standard.

Actually, KTAC Insurance Agency stands for Kubota Tractor Acceptance Corp. In the event of a claim, OIC will cut a check on behalf of KTAC but KTAC is the company that actually pays the claim and I have final say on claim disputes (though we rarely have one). I just wanted to point this out because the biggest advantage of taking our insurance is dealing with people that know Kubota products. We have a vested interest in making you happy when other insurance companies couldn't care less if you buy another Kubota. This is the whole reason I have a job. :D As far as the pest infestation or rodent waste, this is a pretty standard exclusion but I suggest you still check with your other insurance co if it is a concern. Most insurance companies don't pay for crap, even if it came from a rat!
