Here's the other picture in my garage at the end of the day, with the aggie tires leaning on the wall. Jeez I left a little dirt in the bucket, gonna go scrub it out with a toothbrush now ...

Congrats to you guys for joining the club! I am considering the BX and the B7500 myself. Two questions: I am 6'3" an a littlte concerned about whether the BX will be "cramped" with regards to leg room etc.? The B7500 is more comfortable but also $2,000 more. Second question is what were your cost for your units? Enjoy your new machines!

BXDreamer,
I can only suggest you test drive a BX if you have not already. I'm just shy of 6'5" and the only time I feel too big for the machine is when I'm dismounting. That's probably because I don't want use the MMM as a step and I have to swing both legs over first. Operating it though, I never feel cramped with the hydro pedal or the seat, etc.. although I'm sure when I'm on the BX it appears to be more of a GT as I'm out of scale with it. Kind of like a smallish motorcycle I once had. I made it look like a kid's minibike!
I'm sure you'll love either choice. Good luck!

BXDreamer,

I'm 6'7" and 255lbs and have a BX. Admittedly as NYTrainer has said it makes the tractor look smaller - but I'm not worried about what people think if it gets the job done. I'm sure Kubota wouldn't want someone my size sitting on their larger B series tractors in their marketing material as it would make them look like BXs.

FYI - I also played with the idea of getting a B7500 but don't need the extra size or weight on my lawn - which is where my BX spends most of its time. The BX is also more stable on the bank which runs along one side of my property - I'd probably have to weed-whack that if I had a taller tractor.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Sounds like the BX will do the job for me and save me a couple of grand.

I paid 15,500 for:

B7500 hsd
folding rops
302 fel
5" woods rear blade
60"mmm
grass catching system

It's a very impressive machine. Quite a step up from the 18hp MTD garden tractor I wore out.
