Looks nice & comfortable, but any mower with a cab would would have pretty limited usage on my property.

To have any cab, AC is a must or you would die from heat stroke.
The cab units would be great, IF you had a huge lawn with few mature trees. Also good for pushing snow

I pretty much am committed to the F3680 now. So much so, I removed my Carlisle bar tires and slapped Carlisle turfs back on the ZD331.

Glad to hear it's working out for you!

My Grasshopper has bar tires which are great for traction but as we already know, they have potential of creating quite a bit of damage when the ground is moist!

That's one of the reasons why I got the F3060 (4x4) which will never need bar tires at least on our property - in fact I have been driving it without 4x4 function (simple & quick removal of rear drive shaft) just to see if, or how far into the next wet season I can get away with only 2-wheel drive?

We need to mow during the winter in our climate, but now everything is turning brown (except few weeds).

Did another full day of mowing with the F3860. My son is now getting used to the ZD331, so we are now able to knock down mowing time of our big one-full-day customer. I have him cutting the flats and I am doing the steep/challenging stuff.
I was able to cut even more spots with the F than last time. I mowed a bank we used to weed wack, saving is time with weed whacking.
I also learned sometimes it’s better to run in part time 4wd than full time 4wd when cutting sideways on hills. Still also realizing I have a diff lock and need to utilize it more….
I got a compliment from customer on the quality of cut.
Machine has not given me any trouble since I got it back.
Maybe things will settle down now
Need to find a 7K dual axle mower trailer to tow both machines around.
It never ends!

The ZD 331 traction is much improved adding the optional cast iron suitcase weights in the rear corners. I have some steep areas that I mowe and it has very good traction as long as the grass is not wet. However going down hill I have to be very careful as it will lose traction to make turns. So go uphill is ok and then either go around and repeat or going downhill backing up and repeat

Hey thanks. Kubota has been tough on certain models to get information on factory options.
It took some pretty extensive research for me to find a hay baler monitor mount for my M135x, but they make one!! Lol

Do you have any pictures of aforementioned optional cast iron suitcase weights in the rear corners? Or are they just generic suitcase weights hanging off back frame?

I am not good at posting pics but these are Kubota options at the time I bought the mower. They come with brackets mounted to each corner on which you hang two suitcase weights on each side. You may be able to fab your own brackets and find some farm tractor suitcase weights to hang on them
