Congrats on the new toy! Look forward to hearing about your bio-D farming....

The most common way people use to protect the filter is by leaving their BH subframe on and some adding a custom skid plate too. I believe there was someone producing a dedicated skid plate that mounts separately from a BH subframe........but the thread escapes me. Too lazy to try a search right now..

I am certain Rick Wallace can put something together to protect the filter, I be he already has.

You bring up a good point, you'd not want to loose that fluid while operating, could result in much more money than a filter.

A skid from the FEL sub-frame sounds like a plan.

I'm already wishing I got a box blade with it

Oh well I'll just have to key my eyes open for a deal on one.

Oh JoelD the model declined your request :D

I got a used 6 ft boxblade through Craigslist about a year after I got my CK35, was a good deal and they delivered it, about 2 1/2 hour drive away.
Best size would be a 5 ft, sometimes bigger is not better. My 6 ft works well and I won't give it back but if I was looking again it would be for a 5 ft.

Hey welcome Kilo!

Nice rig. If you do find a box blade, or when you find a box blade, you will love it.

Be careful with that model, she may want to start taking on your seat time!!

I have not made a skid plate yet for my filter, as I don't often get into rocky or stumpy areas but I did dent the heck out of the last one. Kioti should make a bolt on accessory for them.

Enjoy!

Thank you for letting me down easy.

I like my box blade very much, I use with the rippers all the time, I've found nothing better at leveling and pulling rocks out of the soil, they also work great when in reverse to spread loam and the like.

Get the strongest box blade you can afford, there is a lot of stress on them, particularly with a 30hp machine.
