joystick freezing up in cold weather

I use to wrap a battery warmer blanket around my joystick and plug it in before using the machine.
It solved my problem.

Jayhawk this is what my caps look like with the hole drilled into them.

THANK YOU!!!! That helps a whole bunch. I will drill them out tomorrow and keep my fingers crossed that will take care of my problem.

I don't think those are the caps you need to drill out,
it's the other end, it has two screws holding the cap on.

You can do the caps on either end ( two on each end), but this was the cap that had held moisture and was freezing my joystick.
