I was going to say the Magic Word of jump packs: Clore.I've had the need for a jump pack many times before. I stopped at a local diesel shop and asked what they used on the rigs they service.
This is the model they recommended:Amazon.com: Jump-N-Carry JNC950 2000 Peak Amp 12V Jump Starter: Automotive
I have a Clore JNC660 and it would do the job for you. They are routinely used to start diesel trucks. It's 18 lbs vs 34 and $135 versus double that.
I keep it in the [heated to 50 F] house versus the garage. They will work when cold but they work a lot better warm. I also put in my calender to recharge it every month, though it usually doesn't need it.
