Nope. Cash does nothing for us when dealing with Kubota. They do not charge the dealer anything for financing. CNH and Deere will do this at times, Kubota does not. All the financing terms, cash changing hands, etc is transparent. You see it all.

The Kubota insurance is totally optional. Most homeowners policies will cover it. Reallly... $472 for three years is pretty cheap in my book. Thats like $12 a month, and the coverage is really better than what you get from a home owners policy add on.

Don't forget to mention if you take the 0% for 36 on the BX's, you have to either take Kubota's insurance (472$ for 17000$ tractor for 3 years) or find your own policy and send a copy to Kubota. So the 0% APR may cost you 472 bucks.
For many people, their home owners insurance covers this, so there's no 'extra' cost.

Mr MessickFarmEqu,

Is it possible to get a copy of the kubota finance insurance policy on line. I just bought a bx with their coverage and was curious details on what was covered. My dealer will get me a copy or one will come automatically but they are slow. Thanks for supporting the forum you opinions have been usefull. I'll buy some parts fromyou at some point to show support.

I financed zero percent just because I can get 4 -5 % on my money. I was wistfully reading into it thinking is was no payments for 36 mnths. Not that good though, but still pretty good. I went with their ins because from what I read it is more comprehensive and provided protection that I think exceeds my business or homeoweners would do.

There is nothing online that I know of. You'll have to wait it out. From what I know it seems to be a good coverage for the rather minimal cost.

Yup. Finance rates are pretty much unchanged. But there is less $$ changing hands between Kubota and the dealers. Its a minimal amount of money, but a change none the less. There is a cash discount now without the requirment to use the revolving credit program.

Just an FYI for ya'll. There seems to be an unusual amount of program money on tractors right now. We've been selling BX's and B's at the best price that I've seen them go at for awhile. I suspect that this is going to come to a quick end here when all the july programs come out.

If there are any fence sitters out there, you've got 3-days to stop sitting.

Seems to be even more program money for July as the BX's have an additional 300$ cash rebate that was not available in June. Time to pay the dealer a visit!

That $$ was there, already. It was just in a differnet program. Its kinda like your taxes. They shift the money around from place to place but its the total sum that you need to be paying attention to.

Can you explain what you mean by "less $$ changing hands between Kubota and dealers"? ...And the implications? Are you implying a hold back, or lower dealer purchase cost?

...just curious...

We have minimal dealer allowances and salesmens incentives. Small figures, like $200-300 on most machines.. nothing like what happens with cars. In this case what was a dealer allowance basicly became a customer cash discount. Same $$ discounts, different names.
