I was looking at an Echo CS620P with a 24" bar, any opinions?
Need a step up from my CS490 for bucking some of the bigger Ash trees.

I have an old crafstman 40cc, think I might try and get that one running proper again too as a backup. Only runs when cold and then quits when warm, will start with carb clean and go back to basic settings on carb and adjust from there.

Echo 620 is worth the jump in price about 150 over the 590.

Little heavy for cc size but one of the better 60cc saws out there right now IMO.

I was at our local refuse center at the beginning of the summer and just so happened to look into the metal recycling dumpster and there sat this nice looking Husky 345. I ever so subtly grabbed it out of the dumpster and took it home. To my surprise I put a little gas in it and it fired right up!! It had a gas leak so I figured I'd take it to my saw guy to give it a once over. He replaced the junky plastic intake for a metal one and a few other things, ended up costing me $100. HOW'S THAT FOR ANOTHER JUNK CHAINSAW?

Husqvarna 3120 wood ported, unlimited coil, fully adjustable H side carb 3120. 😋.
6 tanks on the new oem ported topend by Jason Egan.

Hard not to buy from the local. I'm selling for him. Pending right now through Fri.

Just so you folks know. The stihl 462 got a redesign and released this year.

Helps to stop breaking pistons I was told.

TS = this was changed April 2021 at Serial 190015190 ... the current 4 we have are new versions.

These cylinder changes bring it in line with the crankcase changes. Their was enough feedback from western fallers they intend them to be able to run 36" bars... I personally just keep a 28" Duralite/ES Light on them.

If your going to run a 3120. IMO dont use the flocked one I see in almost all of them. Try the OEM option. Foam with cage and use some Belray air filter oil.

What I suggested to local. Worked great.

I really liked my 346, and wish that I'd bought a new crank for it rather than listening to the saw shop when they told me the 3 year old saw wasn't worth fixing.

If I was buying a saw today in that size. I would be looking at the echo 4910 or 50.

I ran a woods ported one the other day and it was out cutting a woods ported 346.

Stock no clue yet but the shop south of me has them and looks good I just havent ran it in cut. Usally stock they need a muffler mod at least on a echo. But so do other brands sometimes.

I bought a 490 this spring to use brushing out property lines. So far it seems like a pretty good saw and I may even use it for limbing this fall.
