That's exactly what it is. It is a first gen 562 but looks like the same part. Thank you. Its been frustrating me.

It almost looks like something I could make. I've got a bunch of foam similar to it. May try that first.

I'd try it myself.

Tiny getting some more limbing time done. 12" under work. Echo 2511PN with Egan pipe for 28% gains over stock.

I honestly dont think I will ever be without the little rear handle one now.
😎

Plus have a TH version too. But the rear handle one is getting all the use now. Just cats meow for light use.

Just for info. I had ran out of my 40:1 Efree mix with VPracing. I put in some of my ER mix I keep on hand the Truefuel 40:1.

Just like when I tested in the echo 501. Ran same in 2511 with no changes I could see at all switching over to it. Perfect to end.

Folks just need to check what they buy and make sure not returned colored water. 🤦😂 Canned fuels not sealed.

Not bad when only have 6 bucks a gallon in it. I would never pay the regular prices for any of them myself.

Rear handles are very nice for limbing. Just keep a good grip on the handles if the tip catches a branch you did not anticipate.

Next question...

How do I replace the thing? I just pulled the old one off because it was brittle but is the pin supposed to pull out? Do I just stretch the new one over top?

They are such a great saw for the small stuff. They are so small and light that you can really make quick work of stuff.

I have never had to replace one. But sure looks like it just pushes over.

This one guy said he made one from high impact foam.

Ya my wife wants me to teach her on this one. I really think she can start this one on her own.

It pops off on first pull every time so far. No matter if my mix or the canned ER mix.

Doesn't look like that pin or the end of that post removes at all.

Why I searched it and showed you. Just slips over.

Basically the pin is the limiter and the rest to make it easier on case. Buffer deflector. JMO

Many older husky the limiter is just metal.

The antivibration on this saw is pretty good in my opinion but it does seem to have a good bit of "travel" to it, even with the foam intact. I may experiment with some other materials just to see if I notice anything different.

Had a couple poulan 4000 64cc dropped off just now.

Figured worst case scenario parts. But was told 1 ran last year.

Early and late versions.
