Just bought a B7800

I have been looking at a brochure because my brother in law (who is borrowing my tractor right now) is planning to buy either a 2910 or a B7800. The problem is, I can't tell the difference when the 7800 has the HST trans. What is the difference between these two tractors?

Alan, I don't remember all the differences, but the B7800 just doesn't have all the bells and whistles; quarter inch system for the 3-point instead of position control I know, and then the B2910 "includes tilt and telescope softgrip steering wheel, an adjustable seat suspension and a deluxe three point hitch with extendible lower links and ratchet type right link" and I don't think the B7800 has all those features. Isn't the "cruise" control or speed set also different? The B7800 is just a "Price Conscious" tractor with the same size and performance abilities of the B2910.

My B7800 is sitting at the dealer awaiting the LA402 FEL. Seems Kubota has a hard time making enough of either. Tractor took 5 weeks from time of order.

After reading this board, I called the dealer and asked for hooks on the FEL. I didn't ask how much it would cost... anybody out there had it done by a dealer?

Yes, I did, it was rolled up into the purchase price somewhere.

Don't forget your tires, get them loaded too..... and get a few hats.
