I just noticed your post I also have a 2950 with a woods 7500 hoe. I love it and you will too mine has 2600 hours on it. Right now I am in the middle of changing the water pump but thats another story. Have fun and good luck. I have owned mine for about 5 years so if I can answer anything for you i'd be glad too.

Been busy with other things with the L2950 so haven't been active looking for a backhoe. I did get a Land Pride RBT1584 Rear blade. Much easier to maintain the gravel drive and we had an early snow on Halloween to try plowing with it. Still learning but seems to work well spinning the blade around and using it backwards. Was a big help grading a trail out back to skid logs from the back as we heat with wood. Also been working on getting a hydraulic winch connected, but has been kind of a circus. First the winch was damaged in shipping but that worked out fine, but I have been dragging my feet springing $276 for a hydraulic block to hook the winch up with, but I guess it's time to just bite the bullet.

Can any of you direct me to where I check the hydraulic level? The manual I have puts it near foot deck and someone else said it's near the pto, but maybe I just need my eyes checked because I can't find it.
Thanks Larry

Thanks Larry

It's an almost-invisible sight glass near the clutch pedal. Good luck telling if it's empty or overfull--I never could tell on my 2250.

Johnbro,
You the man! Thanks to you I found it. And your right...good luck seeing the level. Now maybe you can help me figuring out how to connect my hydraulic winch to my tractor w/o paying Kubota too much for the rear hydraulic block?
take care Larry
