Neighbor wells aren't really all that reliable. I drilled and have 20+ gpm at 65 ft. Neighbor straight across the highway (and small creek) went to 190 ft and got about 9gpm. That is a real anomaly though as this area lays on top of a big aquifer and it is almost impossible not to hit it...oops, I just recalled a new well since them about 1 mile up the road on the same side as the neighbor. Same story, deep and low flow while 1/4 mile across the draw other guy drilled and hit the aquifer that overflowed the well for a week. Weird.
