Just got this 1990 1920 with fel and back hoe (2003)

It still moves just have to start it in gear. Plan on taking fel and hoe off then it goes into garage for a make over all fluids hoses belt paint everything freed up and lubed it will role out the door like a new one

New rubber mats for the step areas are ridiculously expensive. I seem to remember the price quoted was almost $300.
You can get the quart(?) size can of Herculiner, (pickup bed liner material) and put a beautiful, black, wear resistant finish, on your step areas.

You can make a wooden dowel clutch alignment tool. Some clutches actually are supplied with the alignment tool.

The one i saw in the generic service manual had a thing you slipped over the shaft i thing for setting the fingers maybe. I'll have to look it up and post a picture of it

This is what i was talking about. My buddy says we can take a measurement off the fly wheel with a depth gauge. And from what i have read on line these are just about impossible to get a hold of

I think you will find that a new clutch will come to you from the manufacturer, already adjusted for installation. You will need some sort of simple (homemade?) alignment tool though.

You aren't going to be doing any of this. Relax. Split the tractor, get the parts and give it a go. Get the disk aligned the best you can and try to push things together. if not, try again and maybe use a screwdriver to line things up. It will go together just fine.

Of course you are correct, but I do not believe there is any significant difference.
