Just thinking out loud here,

I guess once your ground freezes up hard, it may work ok. Until then, it's going to be difficult to use. Downpressure with FEL, or float? Getting the angle right between the "front" and "rear" blades on the box blade so it doesn't dig in too deep, or skim too high over the top. I try not to use my box blade much if I can help it, until the ground has frozen up hard as granite. Then with the box angle set to be just barely lower on the rear blade than the front. That way I can scrape hard if backing with it down, for peeling ice layers off of pavement, and I can still get the surface clean and dressed when pulling forward.

I've looked at snow pushers myself. If I ran snow removal jobs for a business, I'd probably get one. But at most, I'm doing mine and maybe a couple of other places, mostly as "favors" for friends and neighbors, so I can't really justify the expense.

Still getting a rear 3 pt snow blower though. Maybe this year. Lol.

I wonder how effective a box blade would be with an SSQA attached to the backside so the box blade could be used (reversed) on the loader frame to move snow.

I have a few uses for a box blade but not enough to be worth buying one as a 3 point mount only. But I do get a lot of snow to move. If I were to setup a SSQA mount on the backside of the box blade for moving snow it might be more efficient/effective than using the bucket. I would still use my rear mounted snow blower for moving the bulk of the snow but in areas I can't use the blower, the box blade may be handy to have due to capturing the snow.

I am sure someone has already done this, if so, what was the results?
Don't move snow, but I saved this idea for pushing a box blade from Road Boss on a LPGS:
