I have to respectfully disagree with Jay400 as I have personally found the BX to be more than capable and extremely useful for many things other than just cutting grass. I had an L series and personally found it to be too small for a lot of my projects and ended up getting an MX. I now use the BX for all my residential type of work, where weight is a negative and maneuverability is important. I found it more than capable for lighter landscaping and while my MX can out work it on large tasks, I find there are often things my BX does the MX simply can not. I recently been using the BX to clear ditch lines on a small gravel road. Im not using the backhoe, Im doing it with the front bucket. The MX is too wide for the road in most places and where it does fit, I find the width of the bucket often does not allow a nice even cut (one side digs deep and the other shallow for example dues to the width of it) If I didn't have the BX this work would be done with a shovel , so the BX is earning its keep with me.
