Since Norton is paid-up for the next year you may as well stick with it and re-evaluate before it expires.

Take a look at the sites I posted. The tests are good for picking a product which meets your specific requirements. One of the reasons I chose Kaspersky is that it does not slow down the system as much as others.

My previous product (McAffee) is one of the worst. Despite that, I probably would have stuck with it as I had done before if it were not for their greetings. They tried to put through an automatic renewal at the list price of about $90. Luckily they did not have my new credit card number and asked for it. That got me looking, and I found that even McAffee's own site was offering new subscriptions at less than 1/2 that price. I wrote back pointing that out to them, and they sent back a reference # for me to renew at the lower price. I had been a customer for 5 years and felt it was poor service or greed to offer renewals a higher price than new. So, I did some research and switched to a much better product.

Edit: I got off on a rant and forgot to mention a free alternative for storing passwords. Keepass is free and runs on Windows and Android.

Apprecate the suggestion but it floors me when the IT department at work 'fixes' a problem with a "work-around" so I definitely don't entertain that at home. Others here with Kaspersky view the forum so there has to be some setting somewhere that needs to be modified. Once I determined that Kaspersky was blocking the site then tractorbynet tech support dropped my concern like a hot potato instead of helping find the solution. Oh well, membership is free, can't complain.

i'm not sugesting it as a fix.. but as a test for further troubleshooting...

Sorry, thought I had mentioned in OP that it works with Kaspersky disabled.

Thanks,
Jeff
