I read the motor is the same as the 825i gator (Deere) so maybe could get it through them??

Do you have a winch on yours? I just got a winch tonight and looking at the mount Im not sure if it is possible to check the front diff oil with the winch mounted without removing the bumper?
Otherwise I can't get over what a great machine this is - I am really impressed and pleased with the machine

Yes, the dealer installed a Warn 4500S. It does look like the front bumper will have to come off to check or service the front Diff.

I am with you. I cannot get over how smooth the clutch engagement and overall drive train is. The motor is so well balanced and quiet too. Even after a month I am still impressed every time I get in it.

Thanks for the link. Have you visibly looked for the filter on the machine? I have given it a couple quick looks and have not found it. First service is recommended at 20 hrs or 100 miles so I will be changing the oil soon.

I will check that out later today as I am planning on installing the winch (may have to go and buy long lead wires however - the ones that came with it look a little short)
I'll let you know what I find....

Looks like you just pop the rear panel off (the one under the rear seat) and you should be able to access the filter fairly easily from there. Looks like it would have been a good place to have a removable (pop in and out type) panel that would allow you to do it with taking anything apart - oh well that will be next years version

Good to know. Thanks! I think it is every 100 hours for filter changes after the first. So should not be too often. How did the winch install go?

Honestly not bad at all. Since I got a really good price on a Superwinch 4500 Terra series I went with that one and I had to do some wiring. From my understand (as the dealer told me) the Warn "Mule FXT" winch that they sell is pretty much plug and play with a few added items. I ended up pulling all the skid plates and ran the wires in a bundle to the front with the factory wiring. I also ran some extra wires so I can add an aux fuse panel for backup lights, horn, backup cam, etc.... Ended up spending about 5 hours total but everything looks factory so that was my biggest concern.
I also found some very factory looking lighted switches on Ebay for a light bar and backup lights if you are looking for any. Had them for all kinds of stuff - think they were under "12v lighted switch"
Tonight I put the factory windshield on - takes about a ½ an hour or so, not bad at all. Seems very nice and far better made than the one I had on my Polaris RZR. Much heavier, better clamps and the vents are really nice.
Today I broke down and ordered the gun boot mounts for the bed - hunting season is upon us and figure that will be the best way to keep mine and my sons gun cased up (DNR is pretty strict on that) and not bouncing around in the bed. Planning on getting a rear bumper next and maybe build/find some kind of under seat storage box. That thing has room for everything including the kitchen sink under the front seat! Shouldn't have any trouble keeping all my spare gear in there! Thinking there has to be a tote/tool box/etc available that fits that space without having to buy the one from the dealer.
Figure the first filter change will be the worse - once I can figure out a good way to do it I expect it won't be bad after that. It does look like a tight fit however.....

Thanks for the switch information. I do plan to install work lights on the back. I also want to install some kind of reverse light. I did this with my Ranger and it was the best mod I made. There is an unused plug on the right rear that is "hot" when the ignition switch is on. Not sure what this is for but I may use this for a light.

I am putting an auxiliary battery under my front seat to power my spreader I use in the winter for my driveway. There is a ton of room under there so I will eventually make some sort of storage box as well.

Sounds like A nice install on your winch!

Here is one for you. Sorry I don't have an updated photo with the winch on yet as I have it apart in my shop right now doing some aux wiring. Adding the rear lights, horn and maybe a light bar. Ill try and get some updated ones later this weekend

Is there any negotiating with Kawasaki pricing like there is with Polaris? I am sure it depends on the volume of the dealer. I hate seeing all the documentation fees and setup fees, etc...
