Keeping character, or restoring a pond

His name is Jake. If he was a mama they'd say he was a Makita. Since he isn't, he's an Akita.

But he'll still take a hand off if given a chance.

When we got there this morning it was evident the rain I'd planned on while on vacation never came.

I needed to cut in a little path for the skid steer to help out at the water falls.

Here's a before.

And here's us roaded in, nothing but a thing when the water's gone.

Iris handles them there boulders so much easier......

For the coping we start off with thirteen inch wide by six inch random length sandstone boulders.

The we split them. sorta kinda like the policy some people have for snakes, make two of'em!

The coping is similar to hair on a head, combed.

 

[wroughtn_harv]

Gives things a finished look if you know what I mean.

It was a good considering the loss of a hand as the only negative.
