Keeping grass out of the center tunnel

I wonder if something like a silicon can be used inside of the tunnel in the hole in the front of the tractor where the hydraulic lines pass through?

Yeah, I was thinking of ways to keep stuff out of there, too. Can't find a good solution, yet. However, to clean it, I just point the leaf blower in there for 30 seconds and it does a good job on most of the stuff.
