Keeping the Ag Exemption

/ Keeping the Ag Exemption #21
Hi Ranchman,

"Hope this helps."

It sure does. Thanks for the very informative post and the links.

I've printed your post for future reference and went to the
TPWD site to download the requirments.

But it looks like I'd have to run some cows for the next 5 years to qualify. I don't imagine they'll accept cottontails and coyotes as livestock.

Thanks again,
Dave

Rabbit Rancher, perhaps? /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif/w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif/w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif Actually there is a market for bunny meat in North Carolina (something I saw when I was in a chain-based supermarket there one time.) Hmmmm... /w3tcompact/icons/hmm.gif

Dave,

RanchMan did a much better job than I could have answering your question. I just got back from *********. We live close to Dallas and spend 2 or 3 days a week in the country.

He is right, it isn't a free ride. You do have to spend some money to maintain your qualification, but I was going to do that anyway.
