I bought a John Deere 55k with built in thermostat last winter. It does a nice job of heating my 16 x 28 insulated shop. The thing that bothers me is the K1 fuel that I get from the local Co-op (out of the K1 pump) is dyed the same color as the off road diesel that comes out of another pump. Does not smoke at all, but the color of the fuel bothers me. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Gerald, I bought the Kerosene version. LP around here is a pain to fill up. I think it is cheaper to run kero here.
