4th photo of the wolf track is interesting. Would appear that the wolf is dragging either his front or rear left foot. Certainly has the attention of your dog.

Seems that many wolfs let there paws scratch the surface as the walk along. I should add that more photos and info are on our dogs blog.

Thanks for the memories as I was born and raised about six miles south of Houghton. Lived there for 22 years.
The last snow that I remember was around July 4 on the north slope of a slag pile in Painsdale.

Here is a few recent snow photos taken at various locations. The 1st ones is us on the shove ice taken today, near Ontonagon MI. Gee, not much ice this year...

After those is the "layers of snow" one. Do you know what the dog is on top of in the 6th photo??

Had to cut up a tree today and the chain saw wouldn't start, then was warming up the oil to dump it and couldn't find my oil can wrench.
