Yeah I got about 10" of "little to no accumulation" on my land about a week ago. The weather folks just can't predict what lake effect snow is going to do or how the bands are going to set up.

You receive lake effect in central WI?

I own 160 acres in Ontonagon county, near Ewen, which is why I posted photos from my land in the UP where the neighbors maintain ski trails some of which run through my land.

My farm is in Wisconsin, and sometimes (although rare) we do get lake effect snow here too.

I went to Bohemia around Xmas one time. The conditions were great, at the time they had the most snow than anywhere in the US. Nice place.

Was out and groomed our trails last night and we may have got a foot of fresh snow. Machines still not running right and going back to the hospital today... Steam from the engine is seen in some pics.
