Has anyone changed out their keyswitch before?

I drove 7 or 8 tractors at the dealer's place last week and used one key for them all. I'm assuming they all work that way? One key?

Yup, one key fits all, or, the same key will work on any Kubota of the same model.

When I picked up my L2800 the salesman used the key on his ring to load it on my trailer, then handed me my two keys. I noticed that he had exactly one Kubota key on his ring, and lots of different models on the lot. It did make me wonder why he suggested bringing the key when I drop it off for service. It must be so I can load it on the trailer by myself!

I've thought of removing the tumbler and having it rekeyed. Am I just paranoid? Is there any advantage to a one key tractor? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
