I bought a used 2016 Kia Sportage SUV 6 months ago after about 5 months of researching them and I love it.
I get a solid 27 mpg with 2.4 184 hp 4 cylinder.
It has a lot of nice features that come standard.

Looks like the Honda Ridgeline will have some competition, but not The big 3. It’s not a real truck.

A couple people that I talked to, that own Kias, liked them. No, this one might not be real truck, but there is market for them. A lot of people with real trucks, have no real need for them. I think the Kia Soul is kind of neat actually.

I have a F-250 to pull the horse trailer, my wife has a F-150. Does she need it, no, but when we were looking for a full size SUV ( Tahoe, Yukon or Expedition) they are expensive. I could buy a crew cab F-150 for $20,000 less than a SUV. So that is the route we went. Honda would not go down a dollar on a Honda Pilot. For what I paid for the F-150 it was as much as the Pilot and is a way nicer vehicle, not that the Pilot is cheap. Honda would take money off a CRV, but nothing on a Pilot.
