I have a 6 ft King Kutter finish mower. It really doesnt like it when you change directions. When i backed up today, one of the solid rubber wheels came off of the steel wheel assembly.

I have tried EVERYTHING i can think of to put that thing back on the wheel, there is no way!

This is the 4th wheel ive had come off of the wheel hub. They are $45 a piece!!

Yes i keep the spindles greased.

If i had known this I would have considered a different brand of mower.

Anyone know how to put these things back together??

I ponied up $160 for four wheels with solid rubber after fighting with the pneumatic-type wheels/tires that came with my Land pride finish mower. Best decision ever with that particular equipment. But as for a possible solution: some folks boil the tire to make it pliable enough to be popped back on the wheel. Not sure if it'll work on tires that wide.
