I have a 72" KK Tiller. I've tilled sandy/loam, wet clay, clay/rocks /w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif, old sod, no problems. Weighs alot - gets right down in there /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif.

Thanks for the imput. The best price I've found in Charlottesville, VA area for First Choice 72" is $1,750. A lot more than KK II.

My PTO is 40 HP. Not sure where the 20 HP comment originated.

My pto is 33.? - so you should have no problems. What price did you get on the KK tiller?

I have a 72" KK tiller, with 30 PTO hp and heavy soil I'm glad I have HST, (breaking sod you need to go really slow). I've tilled 30+ acres in the past 3 years and have had no problems. Cost - $1200.
