I agree with Darrel on this set the IMatch plumb and adjust the chains on the deck accordingly. Can't see any benefit to extending the top link and leaning the upper hitch rearward. You would have to get off the tractor and reset the IMatch everytime you switched implements, kind of defeats the purpose of having it.

On my 2320 with my iMatch vertical I have about six inches of top link inward adjustment left. On jdparts.com it looks like the 2305 had two top link options 10A/10B. See pic. 10B is 35mm shorter then 10A. Maybe you have the longer one? In any event you can pick up top links cheaper at local or online farm stores then JD if you decide to get a smaller one.

I believe I do have the long one. Even with my ballast box ect, the top link was always turnrd full in. I go by T/C every day. I'll see what they have to offer. I think the ability to make adjustments on the fly will be important. JIM
