King Kutter Tiller - Will it fit?

Similar to Mr. Bud, my understanding from my dealer is it isn't NECESSARILLY a question of it physically fitting, but the weight that starts biting you. My guy recommended a lighter duty tiller simply because the heavier duty model of the same width makes the front end light on a BX.
On a BX23, I would look at the 'pickup points' to make sure you'd be able to lift it high enough to get the tines off the ground. I'd have the same problem as you. But a BX24, for example, can get implements further off the ground. For that reason, a tiller with a smaller tine diameter may be necessary for our previous-gen machines.

Like Kieth said, you may want to look at the height if the draw pins when it is resting on the ground. When you have a chance, lift your 3pt all the way up and measure it. I think it gets about 22" or so off the ground. Then take a measuring tape to the dealer and measure the height of the draw pins on the tiller. I would say that if they are 16" off the ground or so , you should be OK. If you live on flat land, and only need to be able to lift it a few inches off the ground, you should be OK.

I've done almost everything you're not supposed to do or be able to do with my BX, but I might be looking for a lighter tiller. Here's my reason: I bought a bunch of steel pipe for fence posts an offloaded them from the trailer to a pallet using my 3PH forks. I loaded the pallet to my advantage ... the weight as far forward as possile. Pipe is easy to calc the weight. I got to 700#. I could still lift to full height. I ran six pallets like that. I had to run a load of gravel in the bucket to keep the front end on the ground on uneven terrain. That's a lot of weight for an implement though. Just my thoughts.

Another concern with a full sized tiller and limited lift would be inclines, such as loading onto a trailer.
