Do a SEARCH. There are hundreds of good ideas on tillers including the KK Tiller. From what I have read, that tiller comes highly recommended.

Agreed on the search. Use the upper Google search space and not the forum search. You'll be reading for a couple years.

I've used mine for two years of gardening and would recommend King Kutter as a good tiller. It works as well as the JD 665 that I rented the previous year, and it cost me less new than a used brand name tiller would have.

Also, Welcome to TBN!

I just bought one this year. It worked okay in busting up ground that hasn't been tilled in a while. It pulverized the soil after I used a breaking plow to bust up the grass roots. Just remember to clean the tines thoroughly after each use while its still fresh. If you let it dry you might need a chisel, LOL, but that would be true of any brand.
If you get one, King Kutter or other brand) be sure to match the size to your horsepower. If you are looking at the 48" model and want to know the difference between the red one and the yellow one - the red one is more for sub-compact tractors and the yellow one is offset to one side to cover the tracks of the right (I think) tire.

I have the 6 ft King Kutter and am very pleased with it. Make sure you check the gear boxes, owners manual said they were filled with oil but mine were dry.

I got a 6 foot KK 2 years ago. When I checked the gearboxes I found them grease filled. Tiller has been rock solid. It came without a manual - decal to download or request dealer order one which I thought was unusual.

I have a 6 ' and use it in sand. It fluffs the ground up like snow. It would also good to use in a sand volleyball court.

Thanks for all the replies. I have been looking at them at Fleet Farm . The one on display is orange and a 48" . I hope to find a Case IH DX25E to run it .

I have the 6' Countyline tiller from Tractor Supply. It is a King Kutter with Tractor Supply stickers. I was fortunate enough to buy it second hand from an individual who only used it twice. Had mine for 2 years now. Done hit big pieces of metal and big pine tree roots. Never skipped a beat or had a single minutes trouble out of it. I would highly recommend a King Kutter PTO tiller to people and would put it up against any brand of tiller on the market. If i were to buy another one I would get the King Kutter.

Keep it clean, grease all the fittings regular, occasionally check the oil in the gearbox, and if possible store it out the weather and it will last as long as any other tiller.

The only complaint i have with it is the shackles and chain that hold the tailgate up. The shackles will easily vibrate loose and if u tighten them too much they will strip out. Part of the chain broke on mine also. But no big deal, was an easy fix.

I have the same unit. Tough, simple, no problems at all.

I have the 60" on my 2320. A little over sized but that's sort of what I wanted. Works great. For what I paid new I could buy two of name brand. I'd buy km tiller again.

I bought a 60" KKII (yellow) 6 years ago and it has been a great value. Gets lots of use, both as a tiller and as a counterweight.
I thought they forgot to give me a manual until the first time I used it and discovered they had taped it under the tailgate.
Good thing it was inside a plastic sleeve.

60" KK for 3-4 years works great. Mine purchased dry;no grease.

I have one, a 72 incher that I have pretty much pounded the "H" "E" double "L" out of.
Started out with the Tiller behind a Grand L3240 with 25 HP at the PTO and am now using it behind a Grand L5740 with 50 PTO HP.
The only problem I have had is seals in the gear box. I replaced them a couple of years ago and they are due to be replaced again. Until I get around to replacing them, I have just been keeping an eye on the gear oil level. I do wonder if there could be a better system for the seals.

Are there better tillers? Don't know, this is the only one I've had but I would buy the same tiller again for the money.
Mine was dry when I got it, filled it up with 90/140.
