OMG!! is this your 13th kubota ? I don't want to know what your payments are. :confused2:

John actually often practices "catch and release", so he only has four or five, or is it six...:)

It`s official, I am now the owner of a Kubota BX 2660 with FEL, 60" belly mower, and a 48" RTC48 Bush Hog tiller, best of all my new tiller is also my favorite "new" color....Orange!!! Also my good buddy Tachdriver (sock man) has pledged his full support. It dont get any better than that! I also want to thank all of you guys who speak the truth on this web site, I have learned alot from your advise, that I have been reading for the last 4 months, which helped me decide which Kubota BX would be best for my use. I have had it for about 4 days and it`s hard to get off it, I keep finding things to do with it. My biggest regret to this point is that I cant believe that I waited until I was 49 to buy this, I should have done this 15 or 20 years ago!!!! It would have cheaper than one knee surgury and two shoulder surguries

Congratulations on your new BX2660, we have one just like it with a Land Pride tiller and 48" rotary cutter. My wife has pretty much taken it over since she retired, so I don't get to use it much, we love it.

Congrats on a great choice! You will not run out of things to do with it. Mine is busy 3-5 days a week when ever I am home. That's all by choice. Just makes work fun and easy.

Congrat's and welcome to the club. I was 49 also when I bought my first BX. Same conclusion - should have bought one years ago and saved a lot of money I paid to various landscapers over the years, and the wear and tear on my body.

Bye the way, nice truck pulling an even nicer tractor. :thumbsup:

I was 56 when I bought my first BX, it was a 2200 and it replaced my Ford NAA; still have the NAA, but don't use it anymore. It is surprising what those little things will do.

I was 56 when I bought my first BX it was a BX2200 and it was my first ever tractor. I'd owned riding Lawn Mowers before but never a diesel tractor. Bought it to be a life time mower with a high priced wheel barrow on the front.:) I've learned a lot since then about tractors, front wheel barrows, diesels and even what a 3ph is and can do. Done alot of landscaping far beyond what I could have imagined. Actually have bought some more tractors since then.:)

John, I had used all types of gas mowers too and at the time was using a John Deere 425 and we were on our third engine. I had experience with the bigger diesels, but not the smaller ones and had no idea what to expect. As you know, it turned out to be a great tractor and still is. Here is a picture of it at its nre home where it will grow old.

I hadn't heard you got any other tractors/mowers, what did you get.:laughing::laughing::laughing:

:laughing::laughing::laughing:I can't remember.
Tell the new owner to raise/tilt forward the seat when he parks it to keep it from standing in water, keeps it from getting so hot and helps keep the bird poop off of it. Nostalgic picture for me.:D

Trust me, I have, but you see how that worked out.
