KingKutter tiller not quick hitch compatible?

My KK tiller hooks to my quick hitch but I can't use the bushings. It wobbles a bit but I'm ok with that. The attachment arms on the tiller needed to be longer by "that much". (Holding my finger and thumb about 1/2 inch apart)

If you look at the TSC site there tillers all now look like they will fit a quick hitch, but they are all country line not KK. My KK 5' tiller is like yours but it is older, you must have gotten a left over unit.

I got a KK branded one, not a TSC County Line branded one (they were cheaper, but out of stock of the 5'). I could very well have a slightly older model or something I guess.

When I was looking at TSC a week or 2 ago, the 6' one had County Line branding on it, but the manual was King Kutter.

I'll see if I can't shift the top link bushing down a bit. I might be able to bend the bottom link pin out just a hair with a crowbar, sledgehammer or something to get that 1/4" of clearance I need. If not, it seems to be working well enough without the bushings for now. I did end up with another quick hitch in a cheap pile of stuff from somebody downsizing, I should see if it has clearance issues too I suppose.

I have the quick connectors that go on each arm. I bought a 7 foot KK tiller and it took me and 2 other people to get it to hook up. It is a bad design by KK. Nothing should be that hard.

Why is it a bod design? It just weighs a lot so with out help or a quick connect system it's gonna be hard! Right?
