I can't find any info on connecting the Log Splitter
I don't know is the hydraulic a closed or open system??

I am far from the expert here, but on my ck20s it is an open system so that when the directional control lever is in neutral, the hydraulic fluids are being returned to the reservoir. Normally, A is the input and B is the outlet, although you can reverse the flow with the directional switch. I have yet to figure out why one would want to reverse the flow, but as I said I am no expert in this field. This continuous displacement pump is the reason you want to avoid like the plague, putting the rear hydraulics in gear without there being an implement or bypass hose in place. The pump will overheat and be destroyed.

Please let us know if you have the front loader on the tractor or not. There is a hydraulic block on the tractor for auxiliary hydrualics. We can help you with the remote hydraulics. It would also be helpful to have the serial number of the tractor.

WOW thanks~ My 1914 has a Bush Hog 1846Qt, the joy stick has three hydraulic lines with quick disconnects. They tie into the OEM 'OIL PRESSURE RELIEF ASSEMBLY"
I'm getting a RamsSplitter system to hook up to the system.

My first thought was to use the disconnects to pressure port and tank port.
on the FEL.
Can I just leave Power beyond alone?
OR
should I tee the fitting at the auxillary valve.
I would run quick disconnects on the back of the Kioti

I tried to read the serial number...oh boy It is a 99 or 2000 model
maybe in bright daylight I can see it:):):)

I can email pictures of the valve & lines,

Here are two views, Hopefully it is a common hook up on tractors!

Great information. Now a couple questions,

Does the Logsplitter have it's own control valve?
Is it an open center valve?
Did you want to add remote plugs to the back of the tractor?

Please let us know. You have a few options for setting up your hydraulics.

:rolleyes:According to Ramsplitter Log Splitter this is their answer:
Control valve automatically returns to start position after log has been split /// use your existing tractor for driving the hydraulics. Just hook up to the auxiliary outputs of your tractor and you are ready to use this log splitter

I don't have the splitter here yet. Should be in the next few days

I guess if it would work, the quickess would be to add two lines with quick disconnects. From the log splitter to the existing lines going to the FEL.
Just disconnect FEL when I use splitter

I also thought about using pipe "tee" from pressure/return side and took FEL/Log SPlitter line there.
Stop in rear with disconnect

What bothers me ...it sounds too easy:eek:

If we can figure out what fittings & lines I need, Do you sell the items also?

Danny,

The simple hook-up is as follows:

Power beyond from the Loader Valve to the "in" port of the log splitter valve.
"out" from the log splitter valve to the tank port on the tractor block.

You will loose function of the 3-point hitch by doing this. There is a way to keep all of your tractor functions, but it would require adding some tees to the system, which would be our recommendation. Let us know if you would like a circuit with the tees so all tractor functions remain operational. Again, this would be our recommendation.

Yes, we carry all types of quick connectors. Because it is an aftermarket loader, we would want you to verify the numbers on the quick connects. We could let you know how much they would be. If you want to go with the tee system, we could put together a kit with all the fittings you would need and a circuit diagram for you to follow.

Hope this helps.
