Kioti 2610 or xg3025

The 2610 would not be a Tier 4 tractor so has no regeneration cycle. Its just under the limit to be tier 4. Although its a big bore motor for its rated HP. And HST would solve a lot of your concerns about shifting and such.

As far as the Kioti 2610 shuttle, the dealer insisted that it wasn't a 2 stage. He didn't have a shuttle 2610, but he did have a shuttle 2510 that I drove. I can't say that I actually checked by engaging the PTO. I did question whether the mid PTO also stopped when the clutch was engaged. He checked with the factory and they verified the mid PTO stops when the clutch is pushed in (no mid installed on the model I drove). I have to believe it would be the same for the rear PTO. If anyone has a 2610 shuttle and know for sure, feel free to chime in.
According to the specs on the Kioti sight. The 2510 is transmission driven (non live PTO. PTO will stop with clutch pushed in)
The 2610 is live PTO with 2 stage clutch.

Thanks for the education on the regen. I really had that all wrong.

Now for the important question - does the xg have a cup holder? I didn't look for this hugely important feature when I drove it.

No cup holder lol but I've read of multiple easy ways to improvise.

The 2610 has a cup holder.... LOL...

Honestly, they're close enough that I would drive them both and go with which ever one feels better. I didn't care for the Kioti but really like the feel of the LS.

At the moment, I've decided the LS is the right fit when I pull the trigger. I do see that there are some really good cup holder options - although that was a joke....sort of. Any way, has any body stumbled across any speed data for the XG3025 shuttle? Mainly interest in min and max (L-1 and H-4). If felt fast, but the yard was too tight and the snow too deep to really be able to tell. I was thinking that I read somewhere that top speed wast 20 ish, but I can't seem to find it now.

That sounds about right. But we have never been there in our pasture.....just to much imperfection in the terrain.

Are you considering the H or the step transmission w/ the clutch ?

I was really fond of the step transmission w/clutch. I like the reverser on the dash, the shifting on the fly, and the pto. Honestly, it's not so much that it is about $1k to $1200 cheaper, I just like the gears and the way it shifted. I am having a hard time not pulling the trigger, but right now all I need is a snow plow, and my 8n has a front mount. It plows like an animal. I already have plans to either find a skid steer mount plate that can accept a regular snow plow, or else just buy a blank plate and make my own. Tractors are just so much fine that it's hard for me to comprehend that it isn't everyone's desire to own one!
