Well they are replacing the hydraulic pump again and another filter and fluid change. We shall see if that solves the issue. If this doesn't do it I will be asking for a replacement tractor.

I'd work out this arrangement before you conclude success or failure and get them to sign off on it. This way there won't be any delay in haggling over getting them to take it back should this work turn out to not solve your issues. Try and set time lines. Sometimes one can "help" with the diagnostics, sometimes time just isn't there and the dealer/factory is just going to have to eat it (owner should no longer be asked/expected to shell out more time to diagnose/subsidize manufacturing QA issues).

I agree. They installed the new pump/filters/and Kioti fluid. No real change. In fact, plowing snow on level ground last week I slowed for a cattle crossing and released the clutch and it just sat there, no wheel turning. I had to back up and baby it to get it to re engage forward motion. This is with 16 gal in the tranny which is 65mm above full on the stick. What Kioti recommended. I'm done with it. Starting replacement proceedings.

A few weeks ago a factory rep came to the farm and looked at the tractor and checked some things. Last week they put the complete suction side of the pump to the transmission assembly. All lines, o-rings, filter housing (single) and filter. It actually did help the loader bounce a bit but it still has the issues at 1800 rpm and above. The steering gets harder and notchy, the clutch engagement changes, clutches slip, etc. Next the big dog is coming to look at it. I said one way or another it has got to be fixed by haying season!!

That thing sounds like it has a shop rag floating around in the hydraulic reservoir. Had a cnc machine that we bought new with high pressure coolant that sometimes worked great and sometimes had horrible pressure, cavitation, and other ill behavior. Service guy came out and tweaked on it and it would work fine until it didn't again. We finally decided to take everything apart and properly fix the problem and after draining the tank we found a nice blue shop rag that was floating around in the bottom of the tank. It would sometimes get sucked up over the intake screen and block some or most of the coolant flow, and after pulling it out no more problems. Bought another machine a couple of years later and the installer found another shop rag in a different coolant tank - said that they see stuff like that a lot.

Have they tried draining the fluid and putting a bore scope down the hole to see if there is anything loose in there?

I'm guessing there is a bit of plastic stuck somewhere in your hydro system and this garbage may be moving around the system.

So, how did this end? Did they ever get it figured out or did they get you a new tractor?
