Price Check Kioti cab tractor

I'm new to site and seek some feed back. I'm looking at a 2006 Kioti DK 65 4x4 Cab Tractor. The tractor has 2,800 hrs. and appears to have been taken care of. Everything is working on the tractor. The asking price is $ 16,500. Does this seem like a fair price for a unit with this many hrs. ? I have never owned or operated a Kioti and was wondering if anyone knew much about this model ?

As with any tractor, reliability is a concern. I own a fairly good size farm and intend to mow and bale hay with the unit. Is the tractor used up or will it last me if I continue to take care of it ? Appreciate any constructive feed back.

All I'll say is this ... I love my Kioti DK50. For the money, I think it's really hard to beat the quality and features of Kioti.

I have a DK50SE HST-C that I bought last year and I love it. I don't know anything specifically about the 2006 DK65. It does have a Perkins 3-cylinder diesel in it, which should last a long, long time.

But when you get up to the 2,800 hour mark on a tractor, you do have to be prepared for things to break or fail sometimes. Even though that motor might last for 10,000 hours, other things on the tractor have had 2,800 hours of use and wear. Can you get an independent mechanic to do an inspection on it? I'd want to check it out thoroughly, including operating the PTO with a mower on it.

If it checks out ok, I'd try to get that tractor for $15,000 if possible. I'm pretty sure a new one in that size is over $35,000.
