Munchie: Just curious why a rear finish mower instead of 72' mid mount? I have the Kubota3030HSDC w/ front blower, loader and mmm it it's been a really nice machine. Having the factory cab in that size machine sold me on it and haven't been disappointed. The real questions is how big is your property and what are your expected uses for the machine? If I didn't have another, larger tractor as well, there are many projects I would not be able to do.

Hey Forester...I like the rear pto because it quickly can be removed. Also the rear actually will get in tighter to akward spots, you just have to do it in reverse. The mid-mount mower due to removing time can turn your tractot into a dedicated grass cutter.

SHS- Where are you from? Canada. My neighbor has a 5105, I think he paid about $32K for tractor and FEL.

Munchie- I did the same compairison, ended up with the Kioti for several reasons. The cost of the 3030 with cab was out of my price range. Ergonomics for 3030 without cab did not work for me. I sat on one with the 'old' seat, litteraly fell out of the seat. After I had the Kioti, I tried the 3030 with the 'new' seat, it was excellent, so I would not worry about that. I also found the BackHoe on the Kioti more comfortable than the 3030 Kubota BH, BH controls on the Kioti BH seemed smoother. I have heard that the Woods BH for the 3030 is nicer than the Kubota one, and the Woods does have a control for the swing speed.

I can't comment on the Kioti, but I do have the B3030HSDCandfind that it is an excellent tractor. I bought it mainly for snowblowing and it can handle anything mother nature can throw at it. Someone mentioned it has a good air conditioner. It also has a good heater. Here is a movie I did earlier this year.

I also used the front end loader a lot and the PTO for road grading and my wood chipper. I am very happy with the machine.

I am going to look at a 3030HSDC mon or tue. They are talking 14% increase next year plus front blower discount ends Dec 31. (canada...dollar weakness)

Munchie: I agree rear is helpful when using my bush hog but I like cutting before rear wheels for lawns. You'll like how quickly the mmm removes from the Kubota;under 5 min.

Forester...you have me thinking 72 in MMM. Is a 480 lb deck a 1 man job to get out from under the tractor? If removing is straight forward and 5 minutes, it probably would be a better choice for me as grass cutting will be a core summer job for the tractor.
