Kioti CK35 HST - glow plug indicator light flashing (pulsing)

The glow plug indicator is slowing lighting up and then slowing turning off (eg like the sleep LED on a computer). The tractor was warmed up but the air was ~20F. Engine seems to be running fine.

Is this pulsing some sort of computer error code or some lose wire / failing sensor anomaly? Does it mean the glow plug is actually turning on (and is that a problem)? Or is during the key to the extreme position the only way to turn it on.

You could always check the plug for voltage with a volt meter, at least this will tell you "if" they are coming on or not.
