Thank you I will look into it. What about the 3rd function? What is that for and should I get it done? Thanks again
I'll add a bit to what cholland posted. And others, especially Brian at Fit-Rite, may jump in too.
The grapple attaches to your FEL in place of the loader's bucket using the FEL quick-attach mechanism. While the existing hydraulics of the FEL already will allow you to raise, lower, curl and dump just as with a bucket, you'll still need two more hydraulic lines to route power to the cylinders that open and close the lid or lids of the grapple, plus a valve to control the hydraulic flow.
There are two popular ways to do this. The least expensive, but quite functional, is to use one of the two sets of rear remote valves that will come standard on the CK3510SE you're pricing, and run two hydraulic hoses from there up to the front of the loader. Then you'd use the small control lever located beside your seat on the CK to open and close the grapple. A second, more user-friendly and more expensive option is install a "3rd function" kit, from any one of several good after-market sources. Now Kioti has started offering its own kit. I've heard good things about it, especially price. Like cholland, I myself have dealer-installed W.R. Long 3rd function kits on two of my tractors, and happen to like them a lot. I think mine were $1,200 installed, though.
The kits typically come with a separate, electrically operated solenoid valve, hoses and fittings that tap into the "power beyond" port on your loader valve. They also come with a hand grip with built-in rocker switch that replaces the standard joystick grip. This is much easier to use, because you can open and close the grapple with your thumb or finger while raising, lowering, curling and dumping without taking your right hand off the joystick. Plus, it leaves both of the rear remotes valve sets free for other things. Like adding "top 'n tilt" hydraulic top link and side link cylinders that replace the standard, manual three-point hitch adjusters. It lets you make adjustments of implement angles "on the fly".
BTW, "top 'n tilt" is likewise something I'm pretty sure you'll end up wanting in the future.
