However, I think we should pool together and send TractorChick a Kioti tee shirt anyway. Maybe Condoleezza Rice could deliver it while she is visiting Australia as a confidence building gesture with our down under Daedong brethren (or sistren).

G'day again...

Well I haven't conceded yet, but it seems that the two tractor reps in Australia may have twisted the truth about Kubota having the word "Kioti" registered. However, I am still getting a friend to search it for me for conclusive prrof.

But in the meantime, Kioti John, you best tell me your T shirt size and email me your address in case I have to post you one over. I'll buy it over the weekend, and you can tell your wife it's from your secret "chick" in Australia.

The fact that Deadong Korea has made parts in the past for Kubota Japan has been proved. I have some pics and boxes and stuff to offer later as proof.

And I don't mind posting a pic of me. ha.. it's all in fun

That's cool Riccarda, but I never really took the bet, and didn't really wish to persue this (as far as I'm concerned) dead issue which we've been over many many times on TBN.
My wife died in 1996, but if she were here, she wouldn't mind my getting the tee shirt, but she'd brain me if I called you a "chick." /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
You see, some people will tell you anything when they don't have confidence in their own products, or are trying to make their own products appear to be something they're not.
I've heard many stories regarding the two K's, and none turned out to have any validity.
I think, as I've stated, the important thing is that they are both great tractors in their own rights, and have nothing to do with one another at this time.

One of the neat things about the Net is you get to hear about people and places that normally you wouldn't have contact with. Seems like John has the Chick straightened out, now all we need is a pic to see if the Tractor Chick really exists.
