Also a cutting edge for the front bucket.

The Bolt on Kioti cutting edge for the front bucket needs to be welded on the sides or another hole drilled on the outer ends.

I welded mine on the outer edges and a 1 1/2 inc or so bead in between the bolt holes all the way across....biggest thing is to address the outer edges, so that it cant get tweaked on the ends. (There is no bolt hole out there.)

Yes, a cutting edge, reversible, like Kioti sells, fits the precut holes in the factory bucket edge. I agree on the need for two extra holes spaced equidistantly from the last hole on either end of the bolt on edge. I had my dealer cut one on each end, not too close to the bucket wall, with a magnet drill. Piece of cake; man those drills are amazing. Then he supplied two more carriage head bolts to fit the edge's recessed holes, and done, no curling or bent corners!

Before delivery make sure the throttle lever is smooth from stop to full, they tend to be stiff and the clamshell covers need to be taken apart to loosen and lube the mechanism, if stiff to move.

I was able to get unexpectedly a Dk50se hst for less than the Dk 45 se hst. Kioti is doing another run of three out of the NC plant. Something to do with the tier 4 emissions timeline. I paid 31600 for the 2485 bh, cutting edge, loaded ag tires plus a $400 giftcard to use as I wish. I will probably use it for the factory filters since I do all of my own service work. I already contacted MIE about accessories. Tractor is going to take about 4 weeks to get delivered. In my Massey HST I used Amsoil. In the engine Rotlla 5w40. I figure this should be the best combo for the Kioti. What do you think? Thanks,I cannot wait!!

Excellent. I'd go with the 5W-40 full synthetic Diesel oil for your similar to my climate conditions. I use it in my DK-40. I've used Amsoil diesel oil and Mobil 1 too. The Rotella is more widely available, so I use it now.

My dealer implied that I need to use factory filters and oil for warranty. I know that is not legal nor correct. As long as it meets spec it is good under the law. I will use the factory filters while under warranty since I have the 400 credit. However, it will be Rotella in the engine and Amsoil in the HST. Have you ever tried Amsoil in your HST? It was smoooooth in my MF.

Being that the tractor is 3 weeks out. I am starting to second guess my self about the purchase. I keep saying to myself I hope it is not too small. I looked at RX 66hp kioti for 8k more. I also came across a 2001 Kubota L48 which is a HD const grade tractor. It has a 12' BH on it. (1800 hrs asking 20k). I am all over the map on this. I know some chimed in with good advice. I just do not want to say OH Sht when I start clearing my land and wish I went bigger.

I think you will be very happy with your new machine. For me OEM filters are not much more than aftermarket ( except for hydro ). Tractor is a big investment how many oil filters will you buy over its lifespan 20 to 30 @ $ 2.00 more. Easy choice in my opinion.
Enjoy new ride, it is a beast. Wish it was mine.

I have a 08 dk 45 with a rhino 95 c backhoe! It would eat 12 inch pines stumps for lunch! No problems and lots of power! You'll be happy!

I'm probably going to go look at an NX4510 HST Cab today...dealer says he can get any of the NX series in about 5 days, but we were only talking cab models. Was your dealer talking just open station?

My dealer said that they wouldn't order a DK45SE HST Cab unless someone specifically requested it...felt they were a bit sluggish when running the A/C and bigger implements. I haven no personal experience with that model (ran a DK50SE HSTC for a bit), but that's what they said.
