Kioti DK55C Mystery Ignition Problem

[Montana C6864]

This issue dates back a year. I was operating the tractor, went to shut it off, and it wouldn't shut off. Pulled the emergency stop and it did exactly what it was supposed to do.
Went to operate the tractor again and same problem persisted with tractor not shutting off.
Replaced the ignition switch and problem persisted.
Tractor sat during winter. Tried to start it up once and it wouldn't start. Just cranked with zero combustion.
Fast forward to spring, tractor still won't turn over. I hooked up some wires to the battery and tested the emergency shut-off solenoid and it looked to be operating correctly.
Tractor still wouldn't turn over but would try like hell.
Tractor sat all summer and fall since I didn't have time to work on it.
Went out today to try and get it running and now the ignition switch does nothing.
Swapped ignition switch out with original and still nothing.
Tested the battery and it is sitting at 12.8v
Tested the battery at the positive terminal and where the negative connects to the frame and still got 12.8v
Tested power to the ignition switch and it is only reading at 5.6v
Tested power at the starter solenoid and it is getting 8.7v

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like a mouse got into the harness. your going to have go over it, and the grounds to the machine.

start at the 12.8 side and work towards the key switch till the voltage drops
