I've seen a few posts lately dancing around this subject. Every machine has it's good and bad points. If you add those up and make a comparison with the "big three" Kioti is so far out in front it is scary. My scoring put the Kiotis turning radius as the biggest "loser" if you will but other areas make up for it in a hurry. It is hard to figure out why Kioti isn't more popular /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Uh oh, you're going to start something now!!! Sounds like you're another "too" proud KIOTI owner!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

As mentioned elsewhere, that is most likely based on a particular need. My neighbor has a DK35 which is perfect for him. It's not even in the ballpark for what I need.

Hey, nice catchy thread name. I know you are only having fun and being tongue in cheek, but you may have some people take you at face value. If so, you risk them pointing out that Mahindra tractors are stronger, beefier, heavier, have been in around much longer, have a larger dealer network, are more advanced, and are priced much more competitively.

Rather than taking it as you having fun, some may take it as you trying to use a big stick and stir things up on TBN. Not everyone will recall your sense of humor and balanced outlook on tractor manufacturers. Hey, but not me. I just bought me a new tractor and I'm playing this weekend!

ok...........teach me something....................I tout the merits and value of Kioti , how I became a Kioti owner in a Kioti forum yet I appear flippant. In all seriousness please explain what I'm missing here? Moderators feel free to jump in to make this clear to me so I can "play by the rules"

Well it's just common sense. One thing that TBN relies on to remain civil is members respecting other members and other brands. When the line is crossed and people are no longer discussing things in an intelligent manner, we have to step in and moderate.

One of our moderation policies is to close or remove threads before they turn into heated debates or arguments---and this thread would be a perfect candidate for that action. It's just asking for trouble (even though it is in the Kioti forum).

DrewL, your implication is that the forums are private forums only for use by those who own or admire the brand. That inference is simply wrong. Many people visit many forums, some are lurkers just reading and doing research to buy their first tractor, some are other brand owners just reading to kill time, some are people from your target brand, some are something else. But there is no lock on the door to the forum that says "Kioti owners only, all other stay out" as if this were the treehouse in your back yard when you were a kid and didn't want girls to come in and give you cooties. The forums are open for all to enjoy.

Heck if you look around the forums, some threads in specific brand forums have titles like "How do I . . . ?" or thing like "Oil filter problem . . . " and people from all brands will go in to help answer those questons no matter what brand the tractor is. So obviously you don't want to keep other brand owners out of specific forums when they are helping you how could one expect to keep them out when they are simply reading posts?

A lot of us don't even look at the forum a topic is posted in, I never even use the main page. I simply call up the "last 6 hours" of posts and look at the topics so I don't really care what forum something is in because I don't use the forum index. Many others do exactly the same thing.

I'm not implying that at all .............so is that what the problem is?

You made a blanket statement that Kioti is best by far, when in actuality, Kioti is best by far FOR YOU. Kubota is the best by far for me because the BX22 is a perfect fit for my needs, budget, dealer network (in my area), etc. Kioti just didn't compete FOR ME. On the other hand, I don't post that KUBOTA IS BEST HANDS DOWN. It is merely best for me.
